WCA Agreement ICC

The WCA and the ICC reached an historic first collective agreement in 2024 covering ICC Events until the end of 2027 - please click below for infographic summary, headlined by a forecast USD 70M increase in prize money.

NZCPA

The 2025 NZCPA Players’ Conference gathered 27 players from New Zealand’s domestic and international teams to reflect on the high-performance system, share insights, and shape the game’s future. The two-day workshop fostered open discussion with NZC and Major Associations. WCA CEO Tom Moffat also joined to share key findings from the Global Game Structure Report and discuss issues impacting players globally.

ACA

The ACA recently held one of its key annual events; the Delegates Conference and New Player Induction Camp. The Delegates Conference brings together the ACA’s player representatives, tackling the critical issues that the game faces while the New Player Induction Camp is for all newly contracted State & W/BBL cricketers.

PCA

The PCA revealed the new game-changing maternity provisions in England and Wales with Katherine and Nat Sciver-Brunt discussing the benefits in domestic and international cricket. The new policies aim to create greater opportunities for players that wish to become mothers, whilst supporting them on their return to playing professional cricket.

T20 Player index

Will Jacks has become the first Englishman to top the Men’s T20 Player Index and Ellyse Perry maintains a strong lead.

Will Jacks has become the first Englishman to top the Men’s T20 Player Index, while Axar Patel and Nicholas Pooran have both climbed to career-high top 5 positions on the back of outstanding IPL seasons.
Following the WPL and continued T20 Internationals around the world, Ellyse Perry maintains a strong lead over Hayley Matthews and Amelia Kerr at the top of the Women’s standings.
